Brief Bio
Dr. Amer ALZAIDI is an Assistant Professor in the Faculty of Computing and IT at University of Jeddah. He is also serving as a Vice Dean. He received his MSc with distinction in Software Engineering from University of Bradford, UK in 2006 and a PhD in Computer Science from University of York, UK in 2011. His research areas include e-Banking, e-Commerce, Multiagent Systems and Artificial Intelligence. He worked in the Banque Saudi Fransi for several years. He is currently a senior consultant for several financial organizations. Dr Amer delivered several Keynote speeches and was a chairman of several conferences such as the Islamic Banking & Financial Institutions Summit and the Product Development Excellence in Banking MENA.


The workshop provides an interactive forum for bringing together researchers, banking and finance industry, and the public sector applying agent-based technologies to solve real-world problems in deployed (or emerging) applications. The workshop inspires research that describes emerging, existing, or current work and identifies challenges and associated solutions. Scholars can share their learned lessons from past experience to improving future systems. The Workshop motivates also presenting simulations or and analysis techniques as well as introducing novel applications areas for Multiagent systems research. The ABF workshop aims at developing a large body of theoretical knowledge and expert industrial applications throughout the novel utilisation of Multiagent systems for creating more efficient and regulatory productive banking systems and financial instruments.
